Introduction

Struno is an iOS app for musicians — a tuner, chord library, scale reference, and metronome in one place. Your privacy is fundamental to how we build this app: all audio processing happens on your device, and we have no servers or user accounts.

Information We Collect

Microphone Access

  • Used for real-time pitch detection when tuning your instrument
  • Audio is processed locally on your device using AudioKit
  • No audio is ever recorded, stored, or transmitted
  • Microphone is only active while the tuner screen is open

Local Preferences

  • Selected instrument and tuning settings
  • Metronome BPM, time signature, and sound preferences
  • Saved chord progressions and scale selections
  • All stored locally on your device

Subscription Data (via Adapty)

  • Device ID (internal, non-advertising) and purchase information
  • Used to manage your subscription status
  • IDFA collection is disabled

Personal information (name, email, phone number)
