1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Struno ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Struno is a music toolkit for iOS that includes a chromatic tuner with real-time pitch detection, a chord diagram library, a scale reference with fretboard visualization, and a metronome with tempo trainer. The App supports 10 instruments including guitar, bass, ukulele, banjo, and mandolin.
3. Tuning Accuracy — Important Notice
- !Tuning results are approximate and depend on your device's microphone and environment
- !Background noise, device case, and microphone quality may affect accuracy
- !The App is not a substitute for a professional-grade tuning device
- !We are not responsible for any damage to instruments resulting from tuning
4. User Responsibilities
- • Use the tuner in a quiet environment for best results
- • Ensure your device microphone is unobstructed
- • Exercise caution when adjusting string tension
- • Do not use the App in situations where hearing safety is a concern (e.g., loud metronome via headphones)
5. Subscription Terms
Free Features
- • Chromatic tuner with basic visual feedback
- • Standard tunings for guitar
- • Basic metronome
Premium Features (Subscription)
- • All 10 instruments and custom tunings
- • Full chord library with voicings and capo transposition
- • Chord progressions with key selection
- • All scales and modes with fretboard visualization
- • Advanced metronome: tempo trainer, subdivisions, genre presets
- • Reference tone playback (pitch pipe)
Billing
- • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- • Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Cancellation
- • You can cancel your subscription at any time in App Store settings
- • Access to premium features continues until the end of the current paid period
- • No refunds for partial subscription periods
- • Free features remain available after cancellation
6. Intellectual Property
Struno and all related trademarks, logos, and content are the property of plane4bear. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Struno and plane4bear shall not be liable for:
- • Inaccurate tuning results or pitch detection
- • Damage to instruments caused by tuning
- • Hearing damage from metronome or reference tone playback
- • Temporary unavailability of the service
- • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
